Why is the US cross scene so much cooler than the UK's?

Saw this over on bianchista — I wish more talented photographers and film makers would show up to UK races and shoot stuff like this. C'mon where are you?

Yeah, it's good. It's inspired me to shoot some video at the halloween cross tonight.

Because if a UK race went through a puddle that big riders would complain that it was too muddy? US keeps it sort of rootsy and doesn't try to emulate the Continent (very badly) IMHO! Well you asked...

Am listening to a Modest Mouse track with the sound of the vid turned down, totally works. I'm with you man, problem is I'm too busy racing to film :(
