Last week we rode from Cwmcarn to Afan off-road. We had great weather and the trails were fantastic the whole way. I can't wait to go back and ride them again without my camera pack.

Coed Y Brenin

That was tiring - Coed Y Brenin and back in 26 hours, including snowstorms, a kip in a travel tavern, lots of coffee and lots of riding. We had a nice time.

Mud

It's been pretty wet the last week and the North Downs are pretty waterlogged. Good fun though. Just playing with Photoshop CS3 - mostly the black & white function and the noise reduction filter. Quite impressive so far.

So, so cold

Belgium

Beckenham Hill Climb

It's the richest race I've ever been to — £1000 for the winner, £900 for the team prize, and £100 for a course record. Dan Fleeman rode the Catford event in the morning, then sprinted up Titsey hill in the afternoon like gravity had had a momentary lapse of concentration. He broke Gary Dodd's 12 year-old course record and won by 5 seconds. Gary Dodd was a creditable fourth, in 1.51, beating some big names on the way. Norwood Paragon was out in force with Wozza cheering everyone on in a giant blue condom suit. Nice.
